“I guarantee that the seed you plant in love, no matter how small, will grow into a mighty tree of refuge. We all want a future for ourselves and we must now care enough to create, nurture and secure a future for our children.”

Hydroponica is a concept space that would educate students in the neighboring communities while also giving back to the area.
-
Hydroponica is perfectly situated in a space that is close to many NYC public schools, and sandwiched between the New Museum and the Bowery Mission.
-
In the first level, Hypdroponica would serve as both an education space for students to learn about hydroponic gardens, as well as an off-hours market for consumers to purchase herbs and vegetables grown within the space.
The second level would serve as a donation area where students and volunteers would pack produce for the Bowery Mission.
The third level would serve as a learning kitchen where children would get taught to make meals with the produce grown.
